Coming soon you will be able to watch The Wolfman online. This film has been long awaited by its fans for three years but is scheduled to release to theaters February twelfth.

Universal Pictures announced the remake of the 1941 classic The Wolfman way back in March of 2006 and the fans have been patiently waiting for it. The movie however has had several setbacks including a change of directors’ midway through getting things together. The original director of the film was Mark Romaneck who is perhaps best known for the film One Hour Photo starring Robin Williams. He is also well known for his television commercials for Apple Computers and Acura. However due to creative differences he left the film in January of 2008.

Joe Johnson took over as director of The Wolfman in February of 2008. He is best known for such films as Jumanji, The Rocketeer, and Jurassic Park 2. Benicio Del Toro will star as Lawrence Talbot, the Wolfman. Benicio Del Toro should bring that missing something to this film as he is an avid collector of Wolfman memorabilia and a fan of the original 1941 rendition of the movie. Benicio Del Toro is best known for his portrayal of Fred Fenster from The Usual Suspects and Dr. Gonzo in Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas. He was the third Puerto Rican to have ever won an Academy Award. The movie will also star the beautiful actress Emily Blunt as the love interest Gwen Conliffe. Emily is best known for The Devil Wears Prada and The Young Victoria.

The movie is set in the 1880s and follows in the plotline of the original. So for all of you Wolfman fans you will defiantly want to watch The Wolfman online as soon as it comes out. Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) is reunited with his father after his beloved brother has gone missing. He is contacted by his brother’s fiancée the beautiful Gwen Conliffe, played by Emily Blunt, to search for his brother. When he returns home to Blackmoor he finds that something has been killing the villagers. The creature seems to weld an insatiable blood lust and brute strength. Inspector Aberline, played by Hugo Weaving, an inspector from Scotland Yard has come to investigate the murders and is very suspicious of everyone. As they work to put the bloody pieces together they learn of an ancient curse that turns people into warewolves when the moon is full. Talbot must track down the brutal creature to end its rampage upon the villagers and protect his brother’s fiancée whom he has fallen in love with. As he hunts for the vicious beast he discovers a terrible dark side to himself he never knew existed.

The Wolfman is budgeted for 85 million dollars and will make full use of today’s special effects. Most of the movie was shot in the United Kingdom at places such as Pinewood Studios, Chatsworth House and Castle Combe in Wiltshire. You will soon be able to watch The Wolfman online and it looks like it was well worth waiting for. The fans of the genre should not be disappointed with this cast and the new areas in the plot.
